Dr. Andy Pernell is a second-generation dentist, born and raised right down the road in Newton-Conover, NC. He is dedicated to providing exceptional and quality dental experiences for all of his patients, which is the passion that drove him to open his own practice: Summit Family Dentistry.
Dr. Layne Veneri
Dr. Layne Veneri is our Associate Dentist at Summit Family Dentistry. He takes pride in his abilities and in providing excellent care to his patients. His compassionate nature and caring attitude guides his care, as he treats everyone like family.
Dr. Allison Kelleher
Dr. Allison Kelleher is proud to provide her patients with excellent dental care. She has completed many hours of continuing education in the field so that she can ensure that she provides her patients with the most comfortable dental care.

Great experience!
Dr. Pernell uses an ultrasonic pick to remove tartar instead of the endless, painful scraping I always endured before.
I also liked being able to see the x-ray and camera images as they were discussed.
Very progressive, modern dentistry.

Can not say enough good things about Dr. Andy and the staff at Summit. They went out of their way to accommodate me for a replacement filling, scheduling me quickly and Darlene even helped entertain my 1-year-old during my appointment! I’d been looking for a dentist I can build a relationship with in Denver and have been unimpressed with the offerings until now. Highly recommend you check them out.

I avoid the dentist unfortunately at all costs! With that being said I had the best experience I have ever had at the Dentist today. And I had a root canal. I have been twice now and neither time have I been stuck in the waiting room or in a room waiting for someone to show up. I was told what was happening every step of the way so things were not unexpected. I did not feel rushed and I felt like my time was valued. Dr. Pernell did not work on six other people while he was working on me. The front desk staff, the hygienist, and the assistants are just all super sweet. I am so happy I picked this Dentist. I am a new patient and I would highly recommend this choice.

I was so impressed with Dr. Pernell and his staff. My daughter had a very bad experience with her prior dentist and was very anxious about having another tooth pulled. She cried before Dr. Pernell even started as she was anticipating it to be another horrible experience. Well, she was pleasantly surprised that he and Kayla were so sweet to her and took the process very slowly to ensure as little discomfort as possible. Dr. Pernell was very compassionate and couldn’t have been sweeter to Danielle. He’s restored her faith in dentists again:) Thank you so much!!! I will sing your praises to everyone I know.

Dr Pernell and all of his staff are very welcoming and kind! I’ve only been here a handful of times, but you can instantly tell that they love what they do and they truly care for their patients. They have been on time for my appointments and you don’t feel rushed through your visit. Great family office.
