Call For Your Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth, also known as the third molars, are the last set of molars to develop in a person’s mouth. They typically emerge between the ages of 17 and 25 and often lead to oral health problems for many individuals. To determine if your wisdom teeth need to be removed, we can visually examine them (if they have already erupted) or employ X-ray imaging.
At Summit Family Dentistry, we offer wisdom teeth removal services and prioritize your comfort during the procedure. We provide various dental sedation options to ensure a pain-free experience. We take every precaution to ensure our patients’ comfort when we remove wisdom teeth.
We accept most major insurance providers, including Medicaid*, for this particular procedure. To schedule a consultation, you can either call our office or conveniently request an appointment through the provided link and one of our office members will reach out.
*Please note that Medicaid is accepted for extractions only*

We offer dental sedation through IV sedation. IV sedation is most commonly used at Summit Family Dentistry for surgical procedures, such as wisdom teeth removal.
This is the safest method of sedation because the medications can be tailored to each patient’s levels extremely quickly.
Effects:
- Deep sedation (almost asleep)
- Able to breathe on your own
- Likely to not remember the procedure
- Able to respond to commands but unaware of procedure happening
Precautions:
- Must have a driver
- Must fast the night before
